Our mustangs come from all over the American West — gathered from open ranges, surrendered by owners, or rescued from difficult situations. Available to AdoptRose is a gorgeous red roan about 14 hands tall from the Little Book Cliffs HMA. Rose was gathered in September 2024. She is smart, curious, sassy, and seeks connection. She has a refined build that is a good fit for a smaller adult looking for a trail or sport horse. Rose halters, leads, picks up all four feet, and loads in a trailer. She is READY for her person to take her any direction!

Available to AdoptGathered from the Roberts Mountain HMA, Scarlett arrived scared and untrusting in September 2025. After months of patient groundwork, she now loves scratches, halters and leads, and is ready for her forever family. Scarlett is a one-in-a-million mare, full of love and energy, and is seeking a very special person who will devote their time and love to bring out her best.

Seeking SponsorRio is our big teddy bear. This girl loves attention, scratches, and being goofy. Rio was started under saddle and doing well but her weak and locking stifles create safety issues for carrying the weight of a rider. This physical condition is most likely a result of being born in a BLM holding facility and spending the first four years of her life in a small area where she did not have the space for proper physical development. We will continue to work on strengthening and conditioning. She is looking for a sponsor to help cover her expenses as a loving member of our Ambassador Herd.

Seeking SponsorCedar was adopted at the same time as Scarlett and was equally as terrified and untrusting. Cedar's path has been slower as we have allowed him the time, space, love, and care needed to reset his nervous system from a constant state of flight. Cedar now takes cookies from our hands and follows us around the pasture. Cedar will remain in training until he is ready for his forever home. His journey will be a long one, and your support will be essential to ensuring Cedar gets all that he needs to build his confidence and connection.

Seeking SponsorIn April 2023, there was one horse left that wasn't selected during the Meeker Mustang Makeover trainer selection. We saw a plea and photo on Facebook of the last horse left, and Cisco, a small. scared mustang, arrived home a few days later. Cisco is about 11 hands, too small for an adult rider. He is also timid and quiet. He takes a bit to warm up to people but loves kids and brushing once his trust is earned. He has an innate sense of empathy that we haven’t seen in other mustangs and knows just the right time when a person needs support. Cisco is an invaluable member of our Ambassador Herd, serving in a position of quiet strength.
