Adopting a mustang is a deeply rewarding journey. Our gentled mustangs have been through patient, individualized training and are ready to bond with the right person. We carefully match each horse to the right home to ensure a successful, lifelong partnership.
Adoption Requirements
Safe Shelter
A minimum 1-acre pasture with shelter and proper fencing (no barbed wire).
Hay & Feed
Commitment to quality hay, fresh water.
Veterinary Care
Access to an equine veterinarian and willingness to maintain routine health care.
Time & Patience
Mustangs need consistent handling and relationship-building — especially in the first year.
Experience
Prior horse experience preferred. We'll discuss your background during the application process.
The Adoption Process
Submit Application
Fill out our adoption application with details about your experience, facilities, and the horse you're interested in.
Phone Interview
We'll schedule a call to get to know you and answer any questions about the horse and the process.
Facility Review
A brief review of your property — photos or a virtual walkthrough — to ensure it meets our requirements.
Meet Your Match
Visit the ranch to meet your potential match in person and spend time together.
Adoption Agreement
Sign our adoption agreement and complete the adoption fee. Your mustang comes home!
